From the A6 Matlock to Bakewell road at Two Dales, take the B5057 for Darley Bridge, Wensley & Winster. Go over the river bridge, then turn right for Stanton Lees opposite the Three Stags Heads.

From the B5056 Ashbourne to Bakewell road, take the B5057 for Winster, continue on this road through Winster and Wensley, then turn left for Stanton Lees opposite the Three Stags Heads.

After about a ½ mile you will come into Warren Carr, and Warren Carr Barn is the last converted farm buildings on the left.
